The motifs were produced for and on account of Axiva Industrial GmbH, which holds the rights of use. Purely machine generated images may lack copyright protection for want of a personal intellectual creation within the meaning of Section 2(2) of the German Copyright Act. Use by third parties nevertheless remains prohibited where it interferes with rights of Axiva Industrial GmbH, in particular trade mark and unfair competition rights and the right of the depicted person to their own image.
The motifs identified above as generated with artificial intelligence were produced using generative systems. They additionally carry a visible notice at the image itself.
This discharges the transparency obligation in Article 50(4) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on artificial intelligence (the AI Act), which has applied since 2 August 2026.
One motif warrants separate mention: the stage motif in the closing section of the content pages is generated with artificial intelligence and depicts our managing director Andreas Geiss. It is not a documentary photograph of an actual event. It is used with his consent. The remaining motifs show industrial environments without identifiable persons.
